Lumi Network

Focus: Ed-Tech

Lumi is an online gamified challenge developed at Stanford University, where children aged 10-18 from around the world team up to solve real-world problems by learning and applying skills in coding, design, and entrepreneurship to develop original apps.

The platform is aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and offers a series of quests that guide participants through the process of researching and addressing a global problem, culminating in the creation of a prototype and a business plan.

Lumi collaborates with schools to integrate its platform into the curriculum, offers corporate partnerships for talent recruitment and skill development, and for every ten children who join, it sponsors two others, demonstrating its commitment to inclusivity and real-world impact.

Hiyacar

HiyaCar is a peer-to-peer car rental service that allows people to rent cars from local owners in their community either by the hour or the day.

The platform uses a unique keyless technology, QuickStart, which uses secure virtual keys to unlock cars via an app, providing convenience to both car owners and renters.

Car owners who list their vehicles on HiyaCar can earn up to £650 per month, and all drivers are vetted, verified, and reviewed for the safety of the community.
