1. Privacy Notice – Deal Submission and Newsletter

1. Who we are
This notice is issued on behalf of Lyall Ventures LTD and Prequel Capital LLP, together referred to as “we”, “us”, or “the firm”.
Registered office: 53 Charlotte Terrace, London, N1 0FB.
Country of establishment: United Kingdom.
We act as the data controller for personal data submitted through our “Submit Your Company” form and for newsletter subscriptions.

2. What personal data we collect
We collect the following information:
• Name
• Email address
• Company information you choose to submit
• Any additional information you include

3. How we use your personal data

A. Evaluating your company for potential investment
Lawful basis: Legitimate Interests (reviewing investment opportunities is necessary for our business).

B. Sending newsletters and updates
Lawful basis: Consent (only if you opt in).

4. Who has access to your data
Access is limited to authorised investment staff of the firm.

5. Where your data is stored
Data is stored in Google Workspace, and may be exported to Google Sheets within the same Workspace environment.
Newsletter data is processed by Kit, acting as our processor under a Data Processing Agreement.

6. International transfers
Google and Kit may transfer data outside the UK/EU under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), supported by supplementary measures.

7. Retention
• Deal submissions: 5 years, then deleted.
• Newsletter data: retained until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection (for legitimate interests), and withdrawal of newsletter consent.
